You may not know it from the media, but Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate Travis Childers is campaigning:
Expected to win his primary battle against Bill Marcy, Jonathan Rawl, and William Bond Compton, Jr., Childers is maintaining a populist tone while undoubtedly preparing himself for what should be an interesting campaign for the U.S. Senate. The primary fight between Republican opponents Sen. Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel has drawn national attention for the mudslinging.
McDaniel was in Biloxi last Tuesday and briefly met for a CNN interview. CNN attempted to track down Sen. Cochran who dodged them in Vicksburg.
